Len,

I was checking out my settings for the Host.

on the general tab, I don't have an IP address in the TCP/IP Address
setting.

I am assuming there should be one there. How do I put an IP Address in
there?

I am using a firewall. Should I use the IP address of the card? (my
internal ip) or an external ip? Is there a way I can use a wild card in
there to use all ips?

Thanks,

Keith

honestly, I am knew that. :))

ah, the specific log circumstance was to a mail server that didn't respond.
I missed that NO mail was leaving.

this is, obviously, a totally different failure. sendmail is refusing to
relay.

see above.

see, it's not so hard to read the log file.

>I don't understand why it is wanting to relay on the other server.

"apparently", sendmail has decided that @anotherdomain.com is not a
local-to-sendmail @recipientdomain.

>I have an SMTP server that is relaying for me

what? you're making me "miss something" here

>and this should send the email to that other server right?

yes, and you've showed two different servers with two different,
understandable reasons for delivery failure.

Let's keep going, show us more of the log for other delivery failures.
