I've used three different mail servers (NTMail, MailMax and Imail), and
Imail has been by far the most stable and best to work with. Version
7.05 has been an absolute rock for me.

Personally I'd try to see if you can work out the problems with 7.05
rather than going back to versions with known bugs. The only major bug
in 7.05 that I am aware of has to do with web messaging, but I doubt
that going back to 7.0 will help in that regard. I don't find Imail
junky nor do I find that it has tons of problems. What kinds of problems
are you having?
