I can't imagine that you got the GUI to accept a blank username. It really seems more likely that the field was accidentally deleted from SQL Enterprise Manager or somewhere along those lines. But even a blank username in SQL doesn't look to be deletable from the web admin, or even viewable from IADMIN. A spacebar character, however, will show up in both (and will look blank at first glance). But deleting it, on my 7.05 HF2 system, did not affect any of the other users in the system. There may be a bug in there somewhere, but more research would have to be done before you could submit this to TS.
