over the past couple of weeks we have had several users complain that all their mail has disappeared. when we check their inbox on their PC's it is empty (this is using OE5 as a client) when we check via Web mail it is empty and when we check the contents of the inbox.mbx it is also empty. the users swear blind that they have not deleted the files (but who can trust users!). the weird thing is that after a while all the emails reappear in the inbox as if nothing has happened. we have not restored the files or played around with the file system - it is very strange
we are running 6.06 and Outlook Express (versions ranging from 5 to 6) has anyone else experienced anything like this before? regards Les.
