Let's see, for an ISP with 1,000 users, at $3.60/year each that would be
$3,600/year. That's even more expensive than IMail AntiVirus. :)

The only times we've seen that happen was with a setup issue (specifically,
where an IIS bug would alter the E-mail notification file). That's easily
noticed when you test the installation (which should *always* be done with
AV software on a mail server), and an E-mail to support will typically get
the issue resolved in under an hour (or less, by checking out the
"Troubleshooting" section of the Declude Virus manual).
If there is an "etc.", please do let me know, as we would like to hear
about it. There are no outstanding issues with the latest version of
Declude (keeping my fingers crossed...).

... in exchange for a third party having access to your E-mail, and adding
an extra point (albeit likely very secure) for unauthorized access to the
E-mail.
Postini is definitely a good solution for some people (mostly smaller
companies that don't have large numbers of E-mail accounts, and are OK with
the extra hop), but isn't for everyone.
