Gathering evidence without a court order or search warrant to capture
personal, private e-mails of a "suspicious" user???

What happened to innocent until proven guilty, or due process, or some
such right we're supposed to have? To hell with the monetary costs to
ISPs, what about the cost to our and our user's privacy and freedom?

I haven't read the thing yet, but if you're right, this is an extremely
frightening piece of legislation. Sounds like some fascist bullshit to
me.

I did some more research myself. The 90 days is only if you notice
something suspicious and you only need to log everything for that
person(s).

This may actually turn into a favorable bill. It gives us as ISP's the
right to monitor a suspicious user without a court order. We need not
divulge the information, but we are protected from liability while
collecting it waiting for the search warrant to be produced.

Time will only tell what it will look like once it gets voted on
though...
