Len,

(BTW, your message hasn't yet reached my mailbox.)

Let me share a really neat workaround. Very simple. You keep a Web browser
pointed to
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/maillist.html
which gives you a chronological list of postings to the IMail Forum *before*
they show up in your MUA. Then, you click on the "Refresh" button every two
minutes to see if there's anything new.

If such is the case, you select all the text (minus the trailers and a bit
of trimming) and paste that into Notepad to get rid of the HTML, then select
all in Notepad and paste it in the compose window of said MUA. I then
manually insert "-----Original Message-----" before my reply because the
original sender's text is not prefixed with ">". *Really* simple ;)

It's really great that you run this list server for your users, but it's
VERY FRUSTRATING to have multi-hour turnarounds. The delay cause multiple
responses to one message because the respsonders don't see quick enough
that the message has been answered, and consequently, the delays cause more
list traffic, which cause more delays.

This is list has, egregiously, the longest turnaround of the many lists I
follow. ( I don't think shame will work, but WTF! ) Most lists are in
the low minutes, I can't think of one, except this one, that's above 10
minutes.
