Eric, I would appreciate some additional exposition on this topic especially about what might be broken and why. If it is just URL construction why wouldn't the software construct the url based on the primary host name? If the software is going to deviate from the primary host name how does it "know" to use mail.domain.com or abc.domain.com or any other combination for that matter?
