This is true, but irrelevant. Backup MXs can't know what IPs are incoming, and MS SMTP does not share IMail's incoming-implies-outgoing relay permissioning. To use MS SMTP safely as a backup MX, you use Routing Domains. > Kinda like IMail, just not as robust. I would say it's more robust as an SMTP server, but this is rather easy since it serves no other purpose and has none of the integrated MUA-side functions (POP3, IMAP4, Web Messaging, et al.) of IMail.
