Sandy, Thanks for your reply. I found what my problem was. It was a brain fart on my part. I had a typo in the DNS server IP. :)
I do have a couple of questions. I am reletively new to the email world. Could you be so kind as to explain a couple of things to me? (you can send it to me personally if you would like, because I am thinking most of the people on here are a little more advanced than I am) Here we go... (b) refusing NULL <> senders is an absolute no-no (IMail shouldn't even have the option, in many of our opinions) Why is this? Am I thinking of this incorrectly? If a sender is NULL, isn't this a spammer? Is there ever a situation when a sender would be NULL and not be a spammer? I don't understand why this is a no-no. (c) disabling AUTH reporting is generally only necessary with Netscape MUAs and can cause problems elswhere. What kind of problems are we talking about? I am not running netscape, but just curious. I was reading some emails earlier on some security steps posted here and enabling this option was suggested. Just curious. I know you are one of the more intelligent members, and would appreciate your feedback.
