Sandy,

Thanks for your reply. I found what my problem was. It was a brain fart on
my part. I had a typo in the DNS server IP. :)

I do have a couple of questions. I am reletively new to the email world.
Could you be so kind as to explain a couple of things to me? (you can send
it to me personally if you would like, because I am thinking most of the
people on here are a little more advanced than I am)

Here we go...

(b) refusing NULL <> senders is an absolute no-no (IMail shouldn't
even have the option, in many of our opinions)

Why is this? Am I thinking of this incorrectly? If a sender is NULL, isn't
this a spammer? Is there ever a situation when a sender would be NULL and
not be a spammer? I don't understand why this is a no-no.

(c) disabling AUTH reporting is generally only necessary with Netscape
MUAs and can cause problems elswhere.

What kind of problems are we talking about? I am not running netscape, but
just curious. I was reading some emails earlier on some security steps
posted here and enabling this option was suggested. Just curious.

I know you are one of the more intelligent members, and would appreciate
your feedback.

Thanks,

Keith
