What you are seeing is a response from the foreign domain mail server, not your mail server.

What is the mail server at the foreign domain?

Maybe it does not like the combination of your e-mail address and IP address?

I am sure someone will have a clearer answer.

Hi,

I'm trying to send mails from my account on my domain, which run Imail 7.01, to my account on a foreign domain , but everytime I try this I get 'Unknown user [EMAIL PROTECTED]' postmaster msg.

I had a look at my logs and found this entry,

550 5.7.1 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... Relaying denied. IP name possibly forged [my.IP.Add.ress]

And I didn't anything related at Ipswitch KB.

Would you please tell me what is wrong !!!

Regards,

Waleed
