Very solid now, but what's really important is...they FINALLY have SSL working.
FWIW, the most important two things that make web messaging work under heavy load: 1 Separate mailboxes from spool on different physical raid channels. 2 Keep the mailboxes and spool directories defragged. Seems that you can even get away with large mailboxes if your drives are defraged(still not recommended but workable if your drives are fast enough.) -----Original Message----- From: Steven Copeland [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, August 09, 2002 12:53 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [IMail Forum] 7.1x and Web messaging Is Web Messaging any more stable in the 7.1x releases than 7.07hf2? Just wondering if anyone who has upgraded seen a better/stable performance of web messaging. What's the verdict? My web messaging crashes about twice a week and I was just wondering if upgrading to 7.12hf1 would help. I know there are a lot of admins out there whose web messaging crashes even more frequently so I feel lucky to only have it crash twice a week. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Thank You, Steven Copeland Network Administrator Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, Inc. http://www.pldi.net http://www.pld.net http://www.ptci.com *********************************************************************** Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
