This is a follow-up after trying Terry's suggestion:
When I first come to the page my web message service shows
stopped. But when I log on and then touch the refresh button the
web service shows active.
Well, this didn't work for me. The WEB service status remained displayed in
red, saying "Stopped", even after logging on and hitting "Refresh". I also
went to "Service Administration" (which prompted me to log in again, hit
"Refresh", still no joy. The only way to make the status revert to its
actual (running) state was to click the "START" link. And then, predictably,
the Monitor Log displayed the same two lines as in my previous post:
20020811 123538 SRVC START "IWEBMSG" service
20020811 123538 SRVC ERROR "IWEBMSG" - start failed An instance of the
service is already running.
Anyone else having this problem?
