We like to add SSL
to one of our Mail domains. In the manual it is recommended that we use
self signed certificates but we were planning to use Thawte certificate for this
purpose.
- Are there any
horror stories out there about doing this for a single domain on a server that
houses many domains?
- Can it be done
for just one domain or it turns all domains into SSL?
- Should we use
self signed or a certificate issued by the likes of Thawte?
- Does SSL slow
down the web services a lot? or it is a non-issue?
We are using
7.12Hf1 at the moment.
