Hey all, I know we've beaten this one for a long time, but here's a workaround for all versions that I don't think anyone has mentioned: the syslog daemon only checks the SpoolDir on startup (good coding choice), so just merge a little .REG file before and after your NET START SYSLOGD and all goes swimmingly.
