I don't think that you can actually separate the two on  the machine, but
you can use a syslog server to get the same results.
I log my log files to a syslog server (Kiwi), which then inserts them into
an SQL Database.  Works well for us.  If you are interested in the Kiwi
syslog you must use the registered version to get the ODBC logging.
