Hello,

I just had a *very angry* customer call up who was using the Web Mail
interface. They deleted 38 new messages on accident, and found that
they were not in the "Deleted" folder since the default option is to
"Purge" the messages.

In the Edit Preferences, the following exists:

Message Display Options
Delete messages:
    Move to "Deleted" folder
 X Purge message
    Confirm delete messages

The default option is to Purge messages. It seems it would make more
sense to have the default be Move to Deleted folder - or even check the
Confirm delete messages box by default. Something to prevent this. The
customer claims this is how other web mail like Hotmail works.

We cannot assume that every user will edit preferences and catch this.
Is there any way I can set the defaults at a server level to avoid
pissed off customers??

If not, I suggest we take a vote and have IPSwitch change the defaults.

Please advise.
Thanks,
George
