Hi Kelly.  Some good suggestions so far to help.  Here are maybe some
more.

You are still running NT4 SP6a.  Try W2K server.  Much more stable for
IMail in my experience.  Also, disable the onboard NIC and get a 3COM
NIC designed for NT4 or W2K server.  Or, load the post SP6a Rollup to
bring NT4 right up to date.

Defrag is a very good suggestion. We use Diskeeper and have it
scheduled to run at 3:00am every morning.  Makes the machine loads
quicker.

Make sure the paging file is 2 to 2.5 times to size of your RAM.

Hope you find a solution.  Need any more help, e-mail the list, or me
off the list [the list will have more resources :-)].

p.s.  Get rid of BIND 4.9.7 and upgrade to BIND 8.2.4.  Much better.
