A couple of my e-mail customers have used MSN for dial-up
Internet access. Due to the MSN Anti-relay policy they used
the SMTP servers at MSN for outgoing mail.
According to my customers, MSN has shut down all SMTP traffic
on their network.
My customers cannot use the MSN SMTP servers for outgoing mail
nor can they use our SMTP servers.
The latest news is that MSN is shutting down POP3 access this
Friday, November 1.
MSN is forcing all of their users to their own web mail products.
I have attempted to find a notice from MSN about their change
in policy but have found nothing.
Anybody seen anything offical explaining this change?
