If something "one time" does go wrong on non-logged services, it won't be in the logs, but if a recurrent problem arrives, say with pop or web svc, just turn the logging on until you get it fixed. How do I get around that? Turning off non-SMTP logging helps when a machine is stressed in the disk i/o.
