similiar to this. I can write a simple script, but I'm worried about
copying a log while it is in use.
Then run the script at 00:10, after the sysMMDD.txt file has been closed by IMail.

pkzip 2.5 for Win32 "DOS" is free now, I think. great for scripts.

How do I get around that? Also, Len
had suggested only logging smtp for spam purposes and turning everything
else off until debugging. this sounds great to me. Is there a downside
to this?
If something "one time" does go wrong on non-logged services, it won't be in the logs, but if a recurrent problem arrives, say with pop or web svc, just turn the logging on until you get it fixed.

Turning off non-SMTP logging helps when a machine is stressed in the disk i/o.
