Though we never setup our IMail server this way, for some reason we have
TWO hosts with the same name.
Under localhost, there is "DomainName.com" and "DomainName." (there is a
period at the end of the host name).
They both have the same top directory, the same Official Host Name,
TCP/IP Address and both are connected to the same external database
(MSSQL).
When we try to get rid of one (delete it), it reappears after we reboot
the application. So my first question is: how do get rid of this duplicate?
I heard this could cause some problems. The main problem we are having
is that some of our users cannot send email to certain domains. After
checking the log files, the error that is generated on this aborted
messages is error 550 Unknown Host and this is lists *our* domain name.
I'm not sure if this means it doesn't "know" our domain (which would be
odd) or if it is just specifying which domain we are talking about.
At any rate - thanks in advance.
