Hello all and Happy Holidays!
I have been having strange things happening to our mail server. First
of all. Last Friday while looking at the admin station, I noticed that
some of the users (in the left hand side), in their information (the
right hand side) the names are someone elses that is a user. Now there
is only one domain and it's really odd. So I decide to change them back
to the way it's suppose to be and I was going to call ipswitch on
monday. So I called them and they've never heard about this problem.
He told me the person.dta could be corrupted and to optimize and it
shouldn't happen again. IT happened. This time the only reason I found
out was that a vacation message that I set up for someone was showing
from the wrong person. Sure enough, I went to the see what was
happening and the user had somebody elses name showing up. What the
heck is this? I called them again today and they had me delete the
domain and import the accounts. Has anyone see anything like this? Thanks.
