Thanks for the info.  Basically, the SQL server is already in use with
clients
and our stuff, so from what you said the best option is to convert to the
registry before switching to the new server.

Now, are there any tools out there that can assist with this ?   I have over
400+ users right now that would have to be converted.

Also,  if I acquire this other userbase.  They are using IMail with the
registry,
is there an easy way to merge their IMail registry with ours ??

Currently, one of the main reasons for using SQL is the ease of managing the
addresses without hitting the registry of the mail server.  The only thing
we
hit that for is aliases.  As for changing passwords for email boxes, I
understand
that using the registry , IMail encrypts the paswords, without using any
IMail
components can this be duplicated?
