No. Those are in a proprietary format, and although some work has been done on figuring the files out, there are still some unknown portions of them. I believe someone wrote a program that would allow you to add or remove entries, but without knowing the exact file format, you run a (probably minor) risk by using it.1 Is there an easy way <besides in Imail>, to read/edit the smtpd32.acc file?
That depends on your needs.2 Say, for foreign IPs, is it better to list just list single IPs or the whole class they reside in? I may be overkilling here by blocking the group for foreign and singles for those listed from ISPs here.
There are several anti-spam databases that are notorious for including full Class C's, in order to annoy the "neighbors" of the bad IP, in hopes that they will convince their ISP to take care of the problem. However, from my experience, this has caused more problems than it is worth.
In most cases, the single IP is all that is needed, since the spam typically comes from either an open relay or a compromised mailserver, not a business with multiple IPs allocated to them. However, if you rarely/never do business with foreign countries, the Class C range may be work out for you.
