He has a third ("another") box that they bring up if the primary
fails. This is why he said I understood his setup correctly. (1) I
described the setup; (2) he confirmed that I got it; (3) you grasp for
a way that you can still be right. But I suppose, once again, you must
wait for "confirmation."
Are you trying to make Luis think his English is to blame? Your
gentled-down lecture on a subject that he already understands fully is
condescending.
