Yes, there is. You use IMail's peering feature to make the Exchange box a peer. In addition to adding the peer setting on the IMail box (per the manual), this entails adding the text "X1" to the Exchange Server's SMTP 220 banner and enabling its VRFY feature. There are more notes on this in the archives. It's one-time-only setup and fully-automated from that point on; no cross-server updates or additional products/servers necessary. On another note, I am not aware of any actual reasons to segregate Exchange from the Internet, other than the usual DoS precautions that would cover any mailbox server (including IMail, of course) and ambient paranoia about Microsoft products (which also is often extended to the whole Win32 platform). -Sandy P.S.
