What does Imail use to determine what it uses when sending an EHLO to a
server when sending mail. I'm having problems with a few domains
accepting mail from a server I support because the value used seems to
change. The imail server has several virtual domains, and when mail is
sent from a listserver on one domain it will do

02:20 07:03 SMTP-(0000018A) >EHLO domain1.com

And when sending from another domain on the same server it will do

02:20 07:03 SMTP-(0000018A) >EHLO domain2.com

It seems like it should use the same hostname when sending (the
configured hostname of the server) no matter what the source of the
email is. The problem I'm running into is some mail servers are
rejecting email because the DNS PTR record for the server's ip address
matches domain1.com, but when it EHLO's with domain2.com it doesn't
match and the receiving server rejects the mail. What can I do?
