None. IMail uses the NT SAM to find and authenticate users, only using
the  Registry  keys  for additional user settings if a user exists. If
the user is not in the SAM, the Registry key will not be touched.

I  suppose  you  could argue that the the overall size of the Registry
tree  and  indices  may have a very tiny impact with a large number of
orphans (3000 is not at all large).

For the best "look and feel," I would.
