So apparently, this is an issue that IPSWITCH is choosing to ignore? It is obviously a widespread issue, based on the number of responses in this thread, and also is not a "point and click" setting problem as Len or Scott surely would have chimed in by now. If anyone from IPSWITCH is listening, we need help on this, not excuses, or silence. I will forgo the soapbox statements here. Let's see if we can get an "official" response with some ideas on how to deal with this problem. rusty -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Matthew W. I found that by right clicking on the attachment link and "saving target as" is a quick workaround. -----Original Message----- From: Rick Davidson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, March 10, 2003 2:51 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Webmail attachements corrupted. I had tickets open with Ipswitch about this issue and got no where, if you try to save attachemts with uncommon file extensions they become unusable. I was told it was a browser problem, I explained and demontrated that Hotmail and Yahoo mail worked just fine with the same files that were failing in Imail. Then it was a "We dunno" and a closed ticket. I am supporting the largest title company in the US with a Imail, they process an unbelieveable amount of documents via email. For the most part the web interface is useless becuase of its inablility to decode attachments properly. Good thing the reliability is top notch, the price is right and Scott's Declude kicks ass or I would lose them to Lotus or Exchange (yuk!). Have a great day!
