I've had nothing but bad luck with the "Don't-Link" type of routers. Have
you tried temporaily bypassing the D-Link to see if IMail would
send/recieve?

Subject: [IMail Forum] D-Link router DI-604 - Imail not working

Hi,

I'm new to the list.

Just installed a D-link DI-604 router in front of my server.

I have virtual server setup to pass SMTP requests through to the IP address
for the server on the local LAN. I also have the firewall configured to let
all requests for SMTP and POP3 go in and out for all IP addresses (or at
least I think I do :-)

FTP access and HTTP access are working fine.

Nothing I've tried has gotten IMail working again.

I uninstalled and reinstalled IMail.

There must be a configuration I'm missing somewhere.

Does anyone have IMail working behind a D-Link router?

Peter White
