> This avoids Imail peering completely, a good thing to avoid. I have to take issue with this blanket statement, as IMail peering is extremely well-suited for some situations. And without more information from Dan as to the percentage of intra-site local, inter-site local, remote mail from HQ and satellites, and incoming mail to HQ and satellites, there is no way that any of us can make a decision as to the best fit.
Only IMail peering allows completely hands-free maintenance, no batch files, no alias files, no subdomains, and would also allow branch office managers to manage their own userbase without any communications with HQ, if desired. It may not be the right way here, but it's certainly not worthy of knee-jerk rejection. -Sandy ------------------------------------ Sanford Whiteman, Chief Technologist Broadleaf Systems, a division of Cypress Integrated Systems, Inc. e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
