Hi, I run IMail Express locally. Outgoing mail is sent to IMail on the local machine, which then sends it on to the destination.
This works perfectly while I'm dialled-up, but if I'm not dialled up I get an immediate return message from the local postmaster, e.g.: Unknown user: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The IMail log shows: 06:15 13:55 SMTP-(040C0000) [x] looking up charlesreilly.com in HOSTS and MX 06:15 13:55 SMTP-(040C0000) [x] looking up charlesreilly.com by stack 06:15 13:55 SMTP-(040C0000) Creating message from Postmaster The look-up fails because I'm not connected, but I don't understand why it's not retrying later. Any help would be much appreciated.
