I started recieving these error messages in my application log yesterday
and they continue today. Yesterday I deleted several orphaned emails
that were in my spool folder that were several months old. I've done
this before without any problems.

This is what im getting now:
[Fri Jun 20 14:09:40 2003],WARNING,error error

[Fri Jun 20 14:09:40 2003],WARNING,error -->
D:\IMAIL\spool\D4da5007200381a70.SMD:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

This is what a normal log entry looks like:
[Wed Jun 18 11:04:25 2003],WARNING,File D:\IMAIL\spool\D7e370865007801d7.SMD
is infected with virus [EMAIL PROTECTED] The infection that has been found cannot
be repaired.

The imail logs show it bouncing the infected messages:
20030620 075925 127.0.0.1 SMTP (05500361) processing
D:\IMAIL\spool\Qf6e0009700322b18.SMD
20030620 075925 127.0.0.1 SMTP (05500361) Virus detected, Not repaired, Bounced,
Virus data = [EMAIL PROTECTED]
20030620 075925 127.0.0.1 SMTP (05500361) Creating message from Postmaster
20030620 075925 127.0.0.1 SMTP (05500361) finished
D:\IMAIL\spool\Qf6e0009700322b18.SMD status=2

Everything looks like its working just the application log entries are incomplete.
I've tried restarting imail services as well as the Symantec Carrierscan services
but they keep showing up. Any ideas. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
