How is the firewall acting as a mail server?

Yours may or may not be -- you will have to post information about your mailserver (such as its IP, and preferably other information such as Received: headers from an E-mail that comes through the IMail server).

I was responding to Lawrence's post. His Raptor firewall is acting as a mailserver; your Linux firewall may or may not be.
