[IMail Forum] Spam filtering has stopped (IMail server v8.0 small businees)

Hi,

A few weeks ago I installed the CD version of IMail v8.0 over the trial version and since then the Spam filtering has stopped working. All services are running except (LDAP, WHOIS and FINGER).

Spam is enabled on the main branch as well as on the branch of our domain.

How do I know that it stopped working? (besides the obvious of that, all users are getting all junk mail again) that when I look at the log file, the line of "performing antispam checks" is missing since the day of installing the CD version over the expired version of the trial version.

Does someone know what can cause this problem or where to begin the troubleshooting?
I already reinstalled the Imail server software, also, I upgraded the NT4 server to W2k server with sp3, no change.

I also upgraded IMail to v8.01, that didn't make any diff. either.

Every time I did some change in the configuration of the server, I always restarted all IMail services. (do you guys have a simple chart of what configuration of IMail requires what services to restart? It would be really nice if the "apply" button on ANY page would be a "smart" one and restart ALL necessary services automatically.)

If I can not get the spam filtering to work, I guess I will have to reinstall the whole server (www, ftp, email on the same pc), but I'd hate to do that.

Maybe the fact that I let the trial version expired and THAN I reinstalled the CD version did NOT undo everything that got disabled by the expiration???
