I did some MX lookups on the domain and it appears to be correct.
How good are you? Did you try entering the E-mail address at http://www.DNSreport.com ?
IMailgets a response back from the their mail server, but as it tries to send to
not just that one person, but anyone within that given domain it fails.
In this case, I would recommend that you post the log files and domain. It's hard to tell what is really happening here (is IMail connecting to the correct IP? Is the remote mailserver sending the 521 in lieu of the greeting, or after a command IMail sends?...).
So if I can send from other accounts not on this Imail server, ie hotmail, what can I do to get Imail to recognize this domain/IP address correctly?
That depends on what the problem is. We need to find the problem before we can find a workaround. :)
Most likely, the workaround will be adding an entry to the HOSTS file.
