if you had pop or imap logging on (not recommended for busy servers), then you should be able to find that person logging on and DLing msgs.
I didn't, at the time, but turning it on now, just to look and see what it shows...all I see are a lot of useless messages about logging on and off. Nowhere do I see WHICH messages were downloaded, just the amount. If that is the only thing that pop logging shows, then I see why I never enabled it to begin with. Even with debug checked, it's not giving me the information I need. I want to see that he downloaded that particular message, maybe by the spool file #. Is that possible? Or, would it be, in the future? I realize it's too late now for this particular user. rum has that effect Nah, more like being overworked cause I have to search log files for users who download mail then accidently delete it without realizing it was important, then blame it on my mail server...the rum actually helps! :) Sharyn We are the worldwide producer and marketer of the award winning Cruzan Single Barrel Rum, judged "Best in the World" at the annual San Francisco Wine and Spirits Championships.
