I wouldn't bet on this being the end of it. We had encountered problems where
QueueManager was in the process list but was using a much larger amount of memory
while not delivering mail like it should have been. We've just been setting a task up
to restart queuemanager periodically.

I installed 8.02 yesterday (after not having a problem with queuemanager since we
started to periodically restart it last week) and I suddenly was receiving no mail,
checked the queue, and lo and behold there were 100,000 msg in the queue.

Whatever the problem may be, I don't think it is fixed.

Hi all,

Like many others, I've had problems with the Queue Manager in 8.01. The
most recent day of problems was 8-13. On that day mail stopped moving
and I created a new spool and moved all the pending mail into it. It
started delivering mail again, but some of the spooled messages stayed
spoooled.

Today I upgraded to 8.02. Immediately those spooled messages got
delivered.

So far, so good. Here's hoping 8.02 takes care of the Queue Manager
problem permanently!

~Katie
