[IMail Forum] Imail w/ Blackberry / PocketPC -- off topic

Well....it seems that my boss needs a new toy.  He would prefer a Pocket PC or Blackberry with an integrated phone.  I have a few questions though.     1) I thought the big benefit of a Blackberry was that is operated on the Paging Network which has supposedly better coverage than cellular networks.  If the Blackberry has an integrated phone is is on a cellular network or both the cellular and paging networks ?   2)  Would the best way to access email be via IMAP and is IMAP supported on the Pocket PC platform?     My aplogies for the of topic message, but I am sure that some/many of you have faced or will face the same question.   Unfortunately, the salespeople really do not know what they are talking about and contradict each other as well as themselves.   Thanks in advance.
