I hope someone can shed some light on my situation. I have been having some issues with imail lately, I have relay turned off because I just use my ISP's smtp for sending emails from my computer. But when I use webmail it has to use the imail SMTP and it doesnt send email to certain domains, some of the domains it isnt sending to are:
I hope someone can shed some light on my situation. I have been having some issues with imail lately, I have relay turned off because I just use my ISP's smtp for sending emails from my computer. But when I use webmail it has to use the imail SMTP and it doesnt send email to certain domains, some of the domains it isnt sending to are:
telus.net
shaw.ca
aol.com
hotmail.com
shaw.ca
aol.com
hotmail.com
I have looked in my server logs and I get a "Stack
Connect Fail" error, but I do not get MX connect Fail. I have looked around the
forums, and have noticed that a few people have suggested a DNS configuration
error for a Stack Connect failure.
I have checked my domain at http://www.dnsreport.com and everything
seems to check out ok.
I originally had my mail server setup to use this
http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=landmarkinternet.ca
but have changed it to this http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=transactioncart.com
with no luck at all, the same thing keeps happening.
I was thinking that
with mail reaching just certain domains that it was a problem with the reverse
DNS PTR record, but I have set them up and it checks out ok on dnsreport.com
too, so I am now baffled.
Does
anybody have any suggestions?
