For some reason today, all 7 of my 7.15 servers are choking and dying..
It's almost like they got together and decided a holiday weekend was the
best time to go 'on strike'. My two 8.02 servers are fine. What happens it
the iwebmsg service takes up 99% of the cpu cycles and then the box totally
locks up.. I can't find anything funny in the logs, I can't see anything
else out of the ordinary..

7 is susceptible, 8 is immune

Some kind of "poisonous" spam message, a bad msg txt format or attachment, getting through to probably many mailboxes on each server, which when read from the queue or from the mailboxes cause the smtp queue reader or iwebmsg to go get sick?

when the machine locks up, or coming up to that point, is disk i/o excessive?
