It appears Symantec loves to use the NIC/Drivers excuse for pcanywhere problems and IPSWITCH does the same for IMAIL.
Problem is, many people use the industry standard 3com 905 or Intel Pro 100 cards in their system with the latest drivers, thus the excuse doesn't hold water. Has IPSWITCH ever put out a list of NIC/Drivers that they guarantee to work to stop the bs excuse? If not, why? Because it will not allow them to use their catch all solution? Either they should have a list of known good NIC's or they should not use that as an excuse, imo.
