I thought some of you out there could use this so I'm releasing it for those who need it. The program is called Qman and I have used it religiously for many months. The focus of this prog is to quickly clear out an overloaded IMail spool.
Qman was created to "force-feed" spooled messages to the IMail SMTP process. Unlike the smtp queue runner, Qman will traverse the spool very quickly and attempt to deliver multiple messages simultaneously only pausing to wait for additional processes to free (configurable... read the site). Qman contains other spool management features as well including the removal of bounced messages, management/removal of orphaned message bodies and management/removal of old partially downloaded bodies. While running it will also periodically check for the notorious SMTP32 error box and automatically close it. You can download the program from here: http://dev.myownemail.com/Imail/qman.htm Be sure to read the instructions carefully. If anyone has questions, feel free to write me directly. I can't guarantee a speedy answer, but I'll try.
