Spammers are using nasty trick with HTML tags like image tags that code email addresses in the src attribute's file name. For example, my email, [EMAIL PROTECTED], might be <img src="http:/www.ipswitch.com/HW4NRUOHQG.JPG"> in a HTML mail message....

Also, I don't understand why Imail does not have a feature like this. Spammers have been doing this for years.

Because it isn't the job of the mail server. If a mail client allows a spammer to send an E-mail that will automatically connect to his server and send data that the spammer chooses ahead of time, well, that's a flaw in the design of the mail client.


What you are looking for is something that is more appropriate for a content filtering program, rather than a standard mailserver.
