On the same line, who do you feel is (are) the best T1 provider(s) out there in term of speed and reliability. I have to get rid of a Verio t1 before it drives me up a wall. Is UUNet still as good as it was prior to the bankruptcy?

As there are a number of ISPs on here, I have a question. I have a client whose servers are in Toronto. One of those servers is used for a mission critical program. (Not e-mail.) Aprox 35% of the work done is through Terminal Server from users in Los Angeles and aprox 35% is done through Terminal Server from users in Chicago. (Users connecting to the Terminal Server in Toronto.) The remaining is done by local users in Toronto. With all of the recent problems on the Internet, there are times when Los Angeles and Chicago can not access Toronto. This brings work to a slow crawl. Currently, all locations on are business DSL. (VPN between locations.) The ISP in Toronto is Bell Canada. The question is, if Toronto (and possibly Los Angeles) was on a T-1 line, would the connection have a greater up-time and guaranteed connection? In other words, if Toronto was on a T-1 line, would they have experienced the slow downs and time outs that they have experienced the last month with the DSL line? (Fortune telling aside.) Or is a leased line between Toronto and Los Angeles better, but at what cost? Please respond off-list.
