I had verio and moved to uunet 3 yrs ago. UUnet was a seperate division
within Worldcom and from a technical standpoint not really affected by the
bankruptcy (IMO).

In the 3yrs with uunet I have only had 3 outages on the uunet circuit and in
those times it was not a localized problem but the major regional/national
issues uunet experienced.

OTOH the 3 years with verio was a total screwup I constantly had problems
from actual circuit issues to total human failures. I would never do
business with them again and have no issues with black holing their ips due
to spam. The more pain I can inflict on them the better.

And to boot uunet was about 60% cheaper.

As far as the circuits you need to determine where the issues are occurring
at. DSL is really just a cheap form of a T1 circuit. (IE with out SLA's)
Start monitoring each leg of the total path to determine where the problem
is at. And fix from there.

Mike
