Am I wrong... I thought one of the niceties of upgrading to v8 and beyond (I'm still at 7.13) was a domain rule, and a separate user rule. So I, as admin, could write my anti spam rules to weed out some spam at the domain level, but the individual user could still write their rules and still be able to filter and sort mail.

Am I misunderstanding v8?

Since you are using a batch file, what you could do is instead of:


copy rules.ima [whatever]\rules.ima
