Got the same problem.. Need to block some of the attachments but not the message itself.
Anybody doing this ?? How..?? If not with IMail, with what ?? Thanks.. We are looking for a way to remove specific attachments (.jpg, .gif) from messages without deleting the entire message. I have been through everything I can find and all I come up with is that we can write a rule/filter to move the message or delete it but no way to simply remove the attachment and deliver the message. Moving the message does not solve the problem and deleting is not practical since the message may contain needed information. Currently we strip all image attachments at the firewall and a notice is added to the message that a file was stripped and why. We would like to open this up so we can allow the attachments through the firewall and set Imail to allow specific users only to receive the image attachments. Is this possible with Imail?
