Windows 2003 standard is fine. You need as many CALS as logons (normally only admin is required if using Imail's own user authentication). However, it's always wise to talk to Microsoft first depending on what other applications you are running.
Don't use the web edition that's reserved for a specific purpose, licensing wise. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Grant Stufft Sent: 22 September 2003 06:03 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Windows 2003 Server versions? OK. I haven't seen the EULA's. Is the standard edition OK? If so. what sort of issues are there with the licensing? How many CAL's are needed ? Does it depend on concurrent accesses of clients? Total Mailboxes? Is there another edition or licensing scheme I should be looking at? Thanks again.
