Pennswoods.net made that mistake.

Isp had over 50,000 users on email system, the email admin sent a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] notifying that the mail server was going to be upgraded in one week, People started replying to the “allusers” email. Needless to say the server went down hard J

Subject: [IMail Forum] Alias

Is it possible to restrict access to our aliases to just those emailers within our organization?

In other words, if I have an alias called everyone-at-mydomain-dot-com and it contains the email addresses of my entire organization, can I make it such that only folks in the at-my-domain-dot-com domain can send to that alias?

Thanks.

Ted
